Qualifikationen

• Prefer at least 1 year in a medical lab, clerical or secretarial role.

• Receives specimens from multiple locations and documents patient data.
• Verifies test requisitions and proper labeling with two patient identifiers.
• Attaches labels to specimens and completes orders with essential documentation.
• Verifies insurance and assists with registration and billing as needed.
• Prepares specimens for shipment to reference laboratories and maintains inventory.
• Answers calls, retrieves test status, and supports lab efficiency efforts.
• Performs pre-analytical steps including sorting, aliquoting, and generation of work lists.
• Conducts CLIA-waived tests as applicable and confirms specimens meet test requirements.
