Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) is seeking a PRC Specialist to initiate the PRC intake process, gather patient information, and update the registration database. The role supports eligibility determination for PRC in the service area and coordinates with providers to ensure timely processing of referrals.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical experience with data entry and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of general clerical experience including data entry and customer service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets patients/visitors in person or by phone; routes inquiries and documents messages.
• Receives daily referrals and reviews against records to determine PRC eligibility.
• Distributes referrals to outside providers and tracks appointment dates.
• Maintains patient records and inputs data into the PRC system.
• Performs daily data entry of referrals/notifications into PRC software.
• Educates patients on PRC scheduling and required documents.
• Interviews patients/families to assess potential eligibility for resources.
• Manages PRC purchase orders and maintains correspondence files.
• Ensures proper PPE is worn and safety procedures followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
