Job summary

Oregon State University’s PRAx program seeks part-time PRAx Tech students to support AV, lighting, and video at live events. Responsibilities include setup, operation, and teardown of technical elements, plus stage crew tasks.

Training will be provided; opportunities for hands-on growth in theatre and live production. Hours are limited up to 24 per week; ideal for students pursuing technical theatre, concert production, or AV technology.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio, lighting, and video for PRAx events.
• Attend trainings, rehearsals, and crew calls as required.
• Support stage crew duties including setup and strike of scenery, props, and equipment.
