Job summary

The University of Oregon, College of Education, SPECS Department, seeks qualified applicants for its pro tem practicum supervisor pool. Supervisors will coach students in practicum and student teaching and travel to field sites around Oregon. Appointments vary by supervisory load and may renew for up to three years.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Special Education and a valid teaching license; three years of teaching or supervision is required. The pool remains active until June 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education/early childhood special education (or closely related discipline).
• Three years of teaching or supervision experience at the appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual coaching and feedback to students in practicum and student teaching experiences.
• Coordinate supervision and field placements across Oregon; travel to sites is required.
• Advance equity and inclusion goals within teaching and supervision.
