Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education and at least three years of teaching experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the content area of the license supervised.
• Ability to use technology platforms such as Canvas, Sibme, CAP Online with confidence.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and learn new platforms as needed.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a compliance-oriented environment per MA licensure requirements.
• Experience giving actionable feedback to improve teaching and student learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise remotely using required platform(s).
• Lead the supervision process with regular communication with field office, host teacher, and student teacher.
• Check Salem State email daily and respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday.
• Attend all scheduled orientation and training sessions.
• Set up, publish and maintain the University-approved platform for the assigned supervision section.
• Provide thorough, written feedback and oral feedback in remote meetings; input final grades by due date.
