Job summary

Stonehill College in Easton, MA is seeking a Practicum Program Supervisor in the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies. The role supports graduate students in full-practicum placements toward licensure in Special Education and Humanities 5-8, serving as a liaison between Stonehill and practicum sites.

The position requires conducting observations, providing feedback using DESE rubrics, coordinating meetings, and submitting licensure paperwork while collaborating with the Graduate Teacher

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Human Development, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional work experience in PK-12 education.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to travel to practicum host sites in eastern and southeastern Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3+ in-person observations and written feedback using DESE rubric.
• Meet with teacher candidates and supervising practitioners at least 3 times in spring.
• Review and submit licensure documentation to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Attend trainings and meetings with Stonehill’s Graduate Teacher Education Department.
• Model inclusive and culturally sustaining education practices.
