Job summary

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is seeking a Practice Systems Coordinator to join the Practice Systems & Applied AI team within the Information Services Department in New York. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, intake management, workflow coordination, and tracking of requests and initiatives.

The successful candidate will work under the joint direction of the Practice Systems and Applied AI Leads, with oversight by the Head of Practice Systems & Applied AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 2+ years in administrative/operations or project coordination roles.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-priority management.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced setting with high accountability and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Practice Systems & Applied AI team.
• Manage and monitor the team inbox, triaging requests and routing to owners with clear follow-up.
• Maintain centralized tracking of requests, projects, and initiatives with up-to-date statuses.
• Support intake and prioritization of new work, keeping intake logs accurate.
• Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agendas, note-taking, and tracking action items.
• Prepare and maintain internal documentation, trackers, status reports, and resources.
• Organize materials across collaboration platforms (e.g., iManage, intranet).
• Support team communications and internal updates across stakeholders.
• Assist with trainings, workshops, and internal events; manage logistics and follow-up.
