Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee planning, management and analysis of clinical practice operations, program development and compliance. The role serves as a key advisor to senior executives on administrative matters and partners with university and health system leaders to drive timely, fiscally responsible execution.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, health administration, or similar field required.
• Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and analyze clinical practice operations, program development, information systems, human resources and compliance.
• Serve as principal advisor to the Executive Administrator and Vice Chair(s) for Clinical Affairs and Quality on clinical administrative matters.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across the Department, School, Health Services Foundation and UAB Health System to ensure timely and fiscally responsible execution.
