Job summary

Cherry Health is seeking an Associate Director of Practice Operations to lead operational excellence at a Michigan health center. You will ensure staffing, patient access, quality, safety, and financial performance while translating system-wide initiatives to site execution.

You will collaborate with medical leadership, manage budgets, monitor key performance metrics, and travel between Cherry Health locations as needed. Strong leadership and compliance focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• RN license preferred; CPR/Basic Life Support required.
• Must be willing to travel between sites.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EMR/EHR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership and operational accountability for a health center.
• Oversee staffing, patient access, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Translate system initiatives into site-level execution and performance.
• Monitor budgets and provider productivity with central leadership support.
• Foster staff development, recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
• Drive community engagement and strategic patient growth initiatives.
• Ensure safety culture and continuous quality improvement across the site.
