Job summary

Kettering Health Network seeks a Manager Practice II to oversee daily operations of one or more medical practices, ensuring efficient patient access, safety, satisfaction, and compliant delivery of care.

You will coach and develop staff, manage resources, and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve performance and quality goals in line with our mission and B Safe program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA).
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Manager Practice II oversees the daily operations of one or more medical practices, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant delivery of patient care and administrative services. This role supports patient access, safety, and satisfaction while maintaining operational reliability and regulatory compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED.

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting with supervisory or lead responsibilities

Skills:

• Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA)
• Ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems and common office software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Financial acumen including budgeting and cost control
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to coach, train, and develop staff
