Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Practice Manager II for the Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital network in the Philadelphia area. The role focuses on strategic direction and daily operations, with oversight of finances, staffing, and two or more high-complexity care factors across a physician practice.

You will lead day-to-day operations, partner with staff to optimize efficiency, and ensure high-quality patient care while monitoring performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities across the practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a Physician Practice at a single site and establish work procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintain overall operational responsibility for routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff to ensure optimal resource utilization and patient care.
• Oversee the business and financial affairs of the practice and report on financial performance and key indicators.
• Identify opportunities to increase practice market share and drive growth.
• Interact with physicians and administration to ensure business needs are met and resolve medical or administrative issues.
• Oversee and report on practice metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Position Purpose

Practice Manager II primary responsibilities include strategic direction and maintenance of the daily operations, financial and budgetary oversight as well as general management of a physician practice with two or more of the following: 5 or more providers, multiple locations, multiple specialties and high complexity.

As a Practice Manager II, you will:

• Be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a Physician Practice at a single site (location). Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Have overall operational responsibility for the routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services.
• Oversee the business and financial affairs of the practice. Be able to review and report on financial performance and key practice indicators.
• Identify Practice / Business Development Opportunities to increase practice market share.
• Interact with physicians and administration to ensure their practice business needs are met and resolves any medical or administrative issues.
• Have oversight and accountability for Practice Metrics whether daily, weekly or monthly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of related experience (preferred)
