Job summary

Gibson Dunn in Washington, D.C. or Los Angeles seeks a Practice Manager for Appellate and Constitutional Law to support daily operations and lead strategic initiatives within the practice group.

The role requires deep appellate knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration across departments to drive talent development, knowledge management, client development, and efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Practice Management, US Litigation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of federal and state appellate practice and procedure.
• Exemplary communication and leadership in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience in professional services firms, preferably law firms.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic goals and tactics for the practice group in alignment with firm strategy.
• Lead talent management initiatives and education programs.
• Develop and maintain knowledge materials and client development efforts for the group.
