Gibson Dunn, a leading global law firm, seeks a Business Development Specialist to support the appellate and First Amendment practices and other areas as needed. Based in Los Angeles, New York, or DC, you will collaborate with the Business Development Manager and marketing teams to execute strategic initiatives.
You will create collateral, pitch documents, and client-facing materials while driving visibility activities, conferences, sponsorships, and client relationship management.

Based in New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles or Dallas, the Business Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting business development and visibility initiatives and priorities for Gibson Dunn’s Appellate and First Amendment practices in addition to other relevant areas as needed. As part of a team, this role will work closely with the relevant Business Development Manager, practice group leaders, various marketing team members, and others to support the execution of key initiatives, business plan objectives, and general business development support.
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of collateral materials including the creation of bespoke pitch documents, standardized pitch decks, opportunity litigation lists, matter descriptions and other applicable content. Along with the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Specialist will spearhead visibility and client relationship management activities including conferences, sponsorships and client-facing events. This role will also work closely with the broader business development team to provide input and support on team infrastructure and broader department projects as needed.
The role reports to the Manager, Business Development based in Los Angeles.

The annual compensation range for this position is $110-120k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
