Gibson Dunn & Crutcher seeks a Practice Manager for Appellate & Constitutional Law in Washington, D.C. or Los Angeles. The PM will oversee day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, talent management, and cross-department collaboration to support complex appellate work.

Responsibilities include driving strategic goals, education programs, and knowledge management, with emphasis on leadership, confidentiality, and client development. A strong background in appellate practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and J.D. or equivalent graduate degree with strong academic credentials.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience directly related to the duties described herein, including at least two years’ experience managing a function.
• Judicial clerkship experience (federal or state appellate) preferred.
• Experience in a professional services firm, ideally a law firm.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
