Job summary

Harbor Health Services in Boston seeks a Practice Manager for the Geiger Gibson Community Health Center to act as the strategic and operational leader of the site, owning outcomes across access, patient experience, team engagement, financial performance, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with clinical, nursing, and administrative leaders to run a high-performing, patient-centered practice, acting as the “CEO of the practice” to solve problems and drive continuous improvement for patients,

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing teams in healthcare or business (ambulatory practice preferred).
• Knowledge of health planning and clinic management, including patient registration, scheduling, and referral management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership across a broad range of constituents.
• Experience in a Community Health Center setting preferred; EPIC/OCHIN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns the overall performance of the practice, including access, productivity, patient experience, and financial outcomes.
• Uses data to identify opportunities, set direction, and drive measurable improvement.
• Leads collaboration with clinical, nursing, and administrative leaders to ensure a high-performing, patient-centered environment.
• Oversees daily clinic operations, ensuring appropriate staffing and workflows.
• Manages resources and supports revenue cycle functions at the site level (registration, scheduling, charge capture).
• Builds strong relationships with community partners to enhance care coordination.
• Drives continuous improvement using a PDSA-style mindset; adheres to regulatory and quality standards.
