Job summary

Harbor Health is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a Texas clinic site, overseeing front and back office staff, scheduling, and clinic workflows to support value-based care. Reporting to clinic operations leadership, you will ensure the site runs smoothly and remains compliant, efficient, and welcoming for members and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience managing a medical practice or ambulatory care site.
• Experiences with EHR and practice management systems; Athena preferred.
• Demonstrated success supervising and developing front- and back-office clinic staff.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and quality frameworks like HEDIS and CMS Star Ratings.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling and patient flow.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements to address gaps.
• Manage supplies, vendor relationships, and facilities to keep the site operational.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate front-office and clinical support staff.
• Ensure a welcoming, member-centered experience from check-in to checkout.
• Support HIPAA/compliance and quality initiatives; champion Athena scheduling and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with Providers, Clinical leadership, Central Operations, Revenue Cycle, and HR.
