Job summary

Smile Doctors in Knoxville, TN seeks a Clinic Manager to oversee clinic operations with support from the Doctor, driving growth, profitability and an exceptional patient experience. You’ll manage people, scheduling, and workflows to uphold our values and clinical standards.

Partner with the Doctor to create a positive culture, lead by example, monitor P&L, control costs, and ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• Experience in clinic management or healthcare setting is valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic operations with support from the Doctor.
• Drive growth, profitability and patient experience; manage P&L to monthly goals.
• Lead by example; uphold professionalism and company values.
• Coordinate schedules and job assignments; liaise between Doctor and team.
• Manage controllable costs including labor hours and supplies.
• Handle patient escalations to reach mutually beneficial resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and State Dental Board regulations.

They are responsible for achieving all profit and loss goals.
