Job summary

Smile Doctors in Mooresville, NC is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to deliver a positive clinical experience under the supervision of an orthodontist. You’ll assist in placing and removing appliances, taking full records, and ensuring patient flow.

The role includes reviewing patient charts, triaging remote monitoring, educating patients on care and remote monitoring, sterilizing equipment, and supporting community events and clinical operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctors orthodontic clinician/assistant.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with accurate data and notes.
• Review patient charts and transcribe doctor notes.
• Administer remote monitoring and triage patient scans.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize equipment and prepare operatory per protocol.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
