Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Practice Coordinator to support administrative and operational functions across the facility. You will coordinate credentialing, contracts, payroll, and HR processes while partnering with clinical leadership to ensure timely provider onboarding and ongoing compliance.

You will assist in meeting setup, minutes, and cross‑department communications, helping to maintain provider schedules and respond to requests efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of equivalent work experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Directors of Operations and Client Services to process credentialing, payroll, HR, and legal forms to ensure timely provider contracts.
• Coordinate with Practice Manager on the timeliness of new provider contracts.
• Assist Medical Director with staff meeting agendas and minutes.
• Support policy updates and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Assist in data collection for reporting with Quality Specialists.
• Process payroll for providers and implement Kronos rules and pay codes.
• Aid credentialing by collecting necessary documents to expedite processing.
• Support site Billing Coordinator to ensure timely medical record completion for billing.
• Attend site visits with Practice Manager or Regional Practice Director.
• Develop relationships with Providers and Senior Leadership to communicate initiatives.
• Attend department meetings and take minutes as needed.
• Respond to provider or patient requests and triage to the appropriate party.
• Manage provider expense reports and processing for payment.
• Maintain provider files including OPPE, CME, and performance data.
