Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations of the practice—Administrative and Clinical.
  • Lead and support a dedicated team, handling HR hiring, training, and staff development.
  • Partner with physicians to shape practice growth through marketing and community outreach.
  • Oversee financial management: budgets, reporting, revenue cycle, and accounting functions.
  • Ensure the practice stays compliant with payer requirements and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on communication, accountability, and respect.

Well established ophthalmology practice, with its own ASC, seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Administrator to lead our busy organization in the Charlotte area. This individual should bring strong leadership, financial expertise, and a people-first approach to managing our experienced team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all operations of the practice-Administrative and Clinical.
  • Lead and support a dedicated team, handling all aspects of human resources, including hiring, training, and staff development.
  • Partner with physicians to shape practice growth through marketing and community outreach.
  • Oversee financial management: budgets, reporting, revenue cycle, and accounting functions.
  • Ensure the practice stays on track with compliance, payer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on communication, accountability, and respect.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a medical practice administrator, ideally within ophthalmology or a related specialty.
  • Strong background in human resource management and staff recruitment/hiring and training.
  • Demonstrated skills in marketing, financial analysis, and accounting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of practice management software, information technology and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. MBA or MHA preferred.
