Job summary

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Inc. seeks an experienced and collaborative Director of Practice Management to provide operational leadership across our growing ophthalmology practice.

This leader will oversee multiple service lines, departments, and locations, with responsibility for practice operations, patient access, front desk services, central scheduling, team development, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field (Healthcare Administration/Business Administration).
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, ideally in a physician practice setting.
• Minimum of 3 years leading managers, departments, multi-site operations, or a combination thereof.
• Experience overseeing patient access, front desk operations, scheduling, and practice performance metrics preferred.
• Ophthalmology or ambulatory/specialty practice experience strongly preferred.

OCB is seeking an experienced and collaborative Director of Practice Management to provide operational leadership across our growing ophthalmology practice. This leader will oversee multiple service lines, departments, and locations, with responsibility for practice operations, patient access, front desk services, central scheduling, team development, and strategic initiatives.

Working closely with physicians and operational leaders, the Director will drive performance, strengthen the patient experience, develop high-performing teams, and support the organization's continued growth across multiple sites.

What We're Looking For

• Healthcare operations leadership experience, preferably in a physician practice setting

• The ability to build strong partnerships with physicians, leaders, and staff

The salary range for this position is $140,000–$160,000, with bonus potential, commensurate with experience.
