Qualifications

  • Executive leadership experience within a large physician-owned private medical practice.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-site healthcare operations.
  • Strong financial management and business planning experience.

Practice Administrator

Georgia Carolina Orthopedics is seeking an accomplished, visionary, and highly experienced Practice Administrator to lead one of the Southeast's premier independent orthopedic practices.

Serving the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), Georgia Carolina Orthopedics consists of 25 physicians, 16 Advanced Practice Providers, and 8 clinical locations dedicated to providing exceptional orthopedic care. As our practice continues to grow and evolve, we are seeking a confident executive leader who can successfully guide our organization through its next chapter while preserving the culture and values that have made us successful.

Position Summary

The Practice Administrator serves as the senior operational leader of the organization and is responsible for executing the strategic vision established by the physician partners. This individual will oversee all aspects of practice operations, financial performance, personnel management, business development, and organizational growth while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

This position requires an experienced healthcare executive who understands both the strategic and day-to-day operational demands of a large, physician-owned, multi-site medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership for a multi-site orthopedic practice consisting of 25 physicians, 16 APPs, and 8 locations.
  • Execute the strategic direction established by physician leadership.
  • Lead operational excellence across all practice locations.
  • Drive continued practice growth through strategic planning and operational execution.
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance.
  • Manage revenue cycle operations and optimize private practice financial performance.

  • Utilize data analytics and key performance metrics to guide organizational decisions.

  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on operational management.
  • Experience working closely with physician leadership and independent practice governance.

  • Orthopedic practice leadership experience.
  • Experience leading or participating in physician practice mergers or organizational integration.
  • Private practice revenue cycle management expertise.
  • Experience leading significant organizational growth.
  • Strong background in healthcare analytics and performance measurement.
