Parkview Health is seeking a mental health professional to provide independent and collaborative psychiatric care in our Indiana clinics. The role involves collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to assess psychosocial functioning and implement intervention strategies, including psychoeducation and family therapy when appropriate.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field, with licensure in HSPP, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, or LMHC.
Performs as an independent and interdependent member of the PPG health care team in accordance with the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board. Assumes mental health care of specific patients in collaboration with the physician and nursing staff. Gives specific patient care directions and support to staff. Utilizes therapeutic skills and techniques to assess the psychosocial functioning of patients, intervention strategies, psychoeducation and/or individual, group, marital or family therapy.
Must have a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related counseling field.
CPR required within 30 days of employment. HSPP, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, or LMHC required. Employee must be able to bill independently for services rendered. Licensure and certifications must be kept current.
2 years of experience in the mental health field.
Must be able to work flexible hours and days of the week. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and good working knowledge of a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
