Parkview Health is seeking an LPN or Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and clerical operations in the physician practice. You will collaborate with the physician team to ensure high-quality patient care and effective provider support.

The role requires MA or nursing training, CPR certification, and current licensure as applicable. Experience in a physician office is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must complete MA program meeting certification eligibility.
• Nursing school graduate with orientation and practice training required.
• Certifications: CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC; CPR required; current state LPN license and CPR.
• Experience as medical assistant or in a physician office preferred.

Summary

This position is looking for an LPN or Medical Assistant.

This position is eligible for a $2,000 – $4,000 sign-on bonus

Summary

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

Responsible for assisting Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Nurse Practice Act, in respective working state.

Education

Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.

Must be a graduate of a school of nursing. Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.

Licensure/Certification

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). CPR required.

Must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license. Must have current CPR certification. Additional certifications may be required for specific areas.

Experience

Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.

Must have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment.

Other Qualifications

Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred. Must be familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
