The position involves coordinating budget, reports, and program events, with emphasis on student success, equity, and cross-disciplinary engagement across Penn.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 1–3 years of experience; PhD in PPE-related disciplines strongly preferred.
• Experience in academic advising preferred.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse population at all levels of the organization.
• Strong verbal and writing/editing skills.
• Budget management and fundraising experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary academic advisor for PPE undergraduates; provide guidance on degree requirements, concentration course approvals, study abroad, and progress.
• Manage student records, track graduation timelines, and clear students for graduation.
• Assist Faculty Director with annual PPE program budget and end-of-year report.
• Collaborate with campus partners to expand PPE interdisciplinary offerings and opportunities.
• Support PPE faculty with course design and professional development; facilitate communication with students.
• Represent the PPE program at Undergraduate Council meetings and SAS-level briefings; support program events.
