Job summary

Lucid Motors in Casa Grande, Arizona, seeks a Supplier Industrialization Manager for Powertrain DU and Metals to lead a team responsible for metals and drive-unit components from sourcing through launch and post-launch stabilization.

You will own APQP/PPAP deliverables, coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations, and drive manufacturing readiness, risk mitigation, and cost improvements across metal casting, forging, machining, and assembly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in automotive manufacturing or supplier industrialization with leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, MSA and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Supplier Industrialization Engineers for metals and drive-unit components.
• Own supplier readiness from sourcing to Start of Production and post-launch stabilization.
• Drive APQP/PPAP deliverables, PFMEAs, control plans, and readiness reviews.
• Provide manufacturing leadership across die casting, forging, machining, and assembly.
• Lead risk mitigation, containment, and lessons-learned repositories.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Operations for DFM/QA decisions.
• Improve supplier quality, delivery, capacity, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma.
