Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Manager of Material Planning Launch & Powertrain Planning to lead pre-series and launch material readiness, and to oversee the powertrain planning team, ensuring supply for high-voltage components and critical drivetrain parts. Based at the Casa Grande, AZ or Phoenix, AZ facility, this role drives on-time launch readiness and seamless transition to steady-state production.

Qualifications

10 years of material planning experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment.
5 years of people leadership or management experience.
Deep understanding of MRP processes, supplier delivery management, and production material readiness.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently for essential duties.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or Business.

Responsibilities

Lead material planning for pre-series, launch, and ramp builds to ensure on-time material availability.
Direct powertrain planning to secure supply of EV drivetrain components.
Own MRP operating discipline and communicate requirements to a global supplier network.
Drive supplier performance improvements and escalation handling to protect production continuity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material constraints and optimize launch readiness.
