Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Powertrain Quality & Reliability Engineer focused on 10-speed and hybrid transmission systems in Livonia, MI. The role emphasizes warranty analysis, field issue investigation, and root-cause resolution.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, calibration, service, and suppliers to improve cost, quality, reliability, and customer experience. A hands-on problem solver with strong communication skills is essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience or knowledge of transmissions preferred.
• Hands-on problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate well with suppliers.
• Flexibility for global travel as required.
• Familiarity with data collection from vehicles/calibration tools.

Responsibilities

• Own 10-speed RWD propulsion system development and integration.
• Lead warranty issue ownership and field issue deep dives.
• Analyze warranty trends and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with plants, service teams, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Drive quality, reliability, and customer experience improvements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for improvement actions.
• Travel globally to support testing and manufacturing activities.
• Work onsite in Livonia, MI four days per week or more as needed.
