Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in dynamometer test cells, preferably powertrain dyno labs.
• Experience with cell automation software and control systems (AVL PUMA, Horiba Stars, Schenck X-One, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform emissions, fuel economy, and V2V tests in a powertrain dynamometer test cell.
• Operate test equipment and measurement instrumentation for accurate test execution.
• Integrate devices and instrumentation into the test cell as required by calibration engineers.
• Troubleshoot data loss, test execution failures, and premature shutdowns.
• Own test cell operations, ensuring proper installation, operation, and test execution.
• Oversee data generation, collection, and organization to support calibration decisions.
• Collaborate with facilities and calibration teams to resolve test cell issues.
• Work with PLC-controlled systems to perform test procedures.
