Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI seeks an experienced Powertrain Controls Integration Engineer to lead vehicle-level integration, commissioning, and software delivery for xEV and conventional powertrains.

You will own milestones, troubleshoot complex controls issues, present progress to leadership, and partner with Brakes, Body Controls and Calibration teams to drive seamless integration and timely launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on vehicle troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of embedded software knowledge.
• 2+ years with calibration/diagnostic toolsets (ATI Vision, CANalyzer, PTDIAG, EOL tools).
• 2+ years of DV and FMA experience.
• 1+ years in Scaled Agile with Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead Vehicle-Level Integration & Commissioning for prototypes and dynos.
• Develop and maintain Vehicle and Breadboard Test Plans for each vehicle application.
• Perform design verification analysis and develop DVP&R as needed.
• Drive Powertrain software integration across platforms and ensure program delivery.
• Lead detailed troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and PCA for controls issues.
• Represent PTEC in program/launch meetings and communicate timing/changes.
