Qualifications

• Requires experience as Helper-FS-Regional T&D and Journeyman Lineman Trainee programs completed.
• Experience with safety rules and protective equipment in field work.
• Ability to obtain a valid commercial driver's license within six months.

Responsabilités

• In a safe and professional manner installs, removes, inspects, and maintains transmission and distribution components.
• Observes established safety procedures.
• Performs switching, secures permits, and provides blocking per Energy Control system.
• Performs work aloft or on the ground on energized facilities, incl. streetlight equipment.
• Performs rigging for moving, placing, hanging, or erecting structures and equipment.
• Operates backhoes, tensioners, large aerial devices and other equipment as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
