Job summary

Kv Power, Lp is seeking a Journeyman Lineman responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission lines. The role requires working with energized systems and occasional after-hours call-backs.

The position involves climbing poles, operating heavy equipment, and coordinating with customers to allocate tools and resources, while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current first aid/CPR certified.
• Licensed Journeyman Lineman.
• 5+ years of direct experience in Energy, Oil & Gas.
• Requires valid driver’s license / CDL Class A with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with customers and allocate tools/resources.
• Promote safety practices and maintain housekeeping at worksites, vehicles, and equipment.
• Ensure safety and company policies are followed.
• Climb poles and use aerial buckets in elevated, confined areas near energized lines.
• Work with energized overhead and underground 15-kV, 34-kV, and 115-kV systems.
• Read plans and instructions; work at heights to install equipment or connectors.
• Keep vehicles, equipment, and trailers clean and maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
