Job summary

RES is seeking an experienced Lineman to maintain and repair overhead/underground electric transmission, distribution, and substation systems. This role reports to the crew Foreman or Superintendent, with willingness to travel to various sites.

Responsibilities include installing lines, operating heavy equipment, locating underground cables, and mentoring Apprentices. A Journeyman Lineman background and a valid CDL are preferred, with a base salary in the stated range.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program and held Journeyman Lineman for at least 5 years.
• Journeyman Lineman Card or verifiable work experience.
• Valid CDL license with excellent driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of overhead/underground electric transmission, distribution and substation systems.
• Constructs and installs distribution lines and works with equipment like digger derricks, aerial lifts and backhoes.
• Assist in training Apprentices and participate in safety meetings.
