Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Lineman Non-Union to install and maintain overhead distribution and transmission systems. The role involves setting poles, stringing wire, installing transformers and switches, and performing energized work under safety rules.

Applicants should have at least 4 years of electrical linework experience, be able to climb structures, and operate heavy equipment. CDL preferred or obtainable within 90 days; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of electrical linework experience.
• Ability to problem solve with unidentified circumstances on any job.
• Must be able to climb different structures and handle high voltage systems.
• Proficiency in using bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks, tensioners and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set poles and anchors; string overhead wire.
• Install transformers, arrestors, cutouts, crossarms and switches.
• Perform construction, maintenance, or repair on energized/ de-energized lines safely.
• Troubleshoot primary and secondary system issues.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits.
• Ensure tools and equipment are tested and safe.
• Report injuries and safety concerns to Foreperson.
• Assist with other duties related to overhead power supply.
