Job summary

Georgia Power in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Power Delivery - Distribution Field Estimator to perform field work, drawing, estimating, and paperwork for overhead and underground service projects. You will design and estimate residential single-family projects and support the engineering team while collaborating with developers, inspectors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some college or technical certification is a plus.
• TECH test is required (either you previously passed or you will be invited if eligible).

Responsibilities

• Estimate monthly blanket work orders and field investigations of orders.
• Design and estimate residential single-family home projects and load analysis.
• Support engineering and line departments in related duties as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and be available after hours for storm response.
