Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Repair and Tool Technician to evaluate and repair small engines and outdoor power equipment, ensuring units are properly maintained and repaired to specification.

Technicians will support Tool Rental Centers in stores and repair centers, handle customer contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs, and maintain tool inventories. Fieldwork includes non-store locations, where units are repaired, tested, and cleaned before return.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices.
• Maintain and service tools in Tool Rental Centers and repair centers.
• Provide service to store customers, including writing contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs.
• Ensure daily operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department.
• In non-store locations, repair, test quality, and clean units before returning to the originating store.
