Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Repair and Tool Technician to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. The role covers both in-store Tool Rental Centers and repair centers, including handling customer contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs.

Technicians will maintain and repair equipment within the Tool Rental department, effectively managing tool inventory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools and ability to effectively manage tool inventory.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Provide service to store customers in Tool Rental including writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs.
• Maintain equipment in the Tool Rental department and manage tool inventory by repairing and organizing tools as necessary.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for repair quality and cleaned before returning to the store of origin.
