Job summary

Aggreko in Reno, NV is seeking a Technician 2 Power to service, repair, commission, and operate power equipment in shops and at customer sites. The role supports natural gas solutions at data center sites and travels as needed.

You will perform preventive maintenance on generators, diesel engines, HVAC, and oil-free air equipment, troubleshoot failures, mentor junior technicians, and ensure OSHA/EPA safety standards. A high school diploma is required, and a valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and moderate repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at shop or customer sites; test and repair solo or with another technician(s).
• Complete paperwork timely, including data entry and relevant software usage.
• Lead moderate job site setups and mentor lower-level Technicians.
• Maintain safe working conditions per OSHA/EPA and other regulations.
