Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 - Power based in Reno, Nevada, to support our Peru Ridge data center customer site. You’ll service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko equipment in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure reliability, follow safety procedures, and communicate with customers and site leadership. The role involves 12-hour shifts, travel as needed, and hands-on power systems work.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generation equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures in the field and at customer sites.
• Inspect, test, service, and maintain equipment to maximize reliability.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders, maintenance records, repair logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Assist with job-site setup, equipment commissioning, and operation.
• Work safely around electrical, mechanical, and power-generation equipment while following safety requirements.
• Support and mentor less-experienced technicians as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and site leadership.
