Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in Reno, NV is seeking a Technician 2 Power to service, repair, commission and operate Aggreko products at customer sites and the South Valley data center. You’ll work both in shops and on-site, focusing on gas solutions and reliable power delivery.

You will lead moderate job-site setups, mentor junior technicians, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and test equipment, and ensure safe operations in line with OSHA/EPA standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in generators, industrial HVAC equipment, air compressors, electrical distribution, power generation, load banks, and/or BESS products.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on heavy equipment.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain/maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and moderate repairs of power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, electrical distribution, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at shop or customer sites; test and repair with team as needed.
• Lead moderate job-site setups and mentor junior Technicians.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and data entry in relevant systems.
