Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Technician 2 Power based in Reno, Nevada. The role involves servicing, repairing, commissioning and operating Aggreko products at customer sites and in shop environments for natural gas solutions.

You will work with a team and independently, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and leading job-site setups while mentoring junior technicians. A valid driver’s license and safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and required certifications to operate equipment.
Experience with generators, HVAC equipment, air compressors, electrical distribution, and related power equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and moderate repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at shop or customer sites; test and repair solo or with another technician.
Complete paperwork and data entry using relevant systems.
Lead moderate job-site setups and mentor lower-level technicians.
Maintain safety and compliance with OSHA, EPA and applicable regulations.
