Job summary

Aggreko in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Technician 1 Power to support on-site generator maintenance and repair. You’ll perform preventive maintenance on diesel generators, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems and oil-free air compressors, and troubleshoot issues at the shop or customer sites.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED and 4+ years of hands-on experience with power generators, plus the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working on power generators.
• Ability to read schematics.
• TWIC card or valid DOT medical card may be required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based out of our New Iberia service center.
• Occasional travel and weekends/overtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical equipment, HVAC, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop or customer locations and complete repairs.
