Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Technician 1 Power in Sayreville, NJ. You will be based at the Sayreville service center and travel daily to customer sites, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical equipment, and oil-free air compressors.

The role requires 1–3 years’ experience, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with a company vehicle provided for field tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years’ experience working on power generators equipment, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements.
• May need TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 60–80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations; conduct repairs as needed.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either alone or with another technician.
• Based in Sayreville, NJ, travel daily in the company vehicle; may require overtime and weekends.
