Job summary

Aggreko plc in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Technician 1 Power to maintain and repair power generation equipment at our service center. The role involves hands-on work with generators, diesel engines, HVAC, and oil-free air systems, with potential travel.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of generator experience, including reading schematics and KW calculations. A valid driver's license and TWIC/DOT card may be required, with overtime and on-call possibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years' experience on power generators, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective kW; reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Based at New Iberia, LA service center.
• Overtime and weekends possible; travel potential.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop or customer locations and perform repairs.
