Job summary

Aggreko plc in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Technician 1 Power to support our energy service center. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors.

You will troubleshoot equipment at the shop or on customer locations and may travel occasionally. Overtime and weekend work are possible to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience maintaining and repairing power generators.
• Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal kW requirements.
• May need TWIC card or DOT medical card; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Based out of New Iberia, LA service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, engines, HVAC, and oil-free air equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment at the shop or customer locations and perform repairs.
• Occasional travel and overtime/weekend work may be required.
