Aggreko plc is seeking a Technician 1 - Power based in Chicago (Lemont), IL. The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs of generators, diesel engines, electrical gear, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors at the Lemont service center.

You may work alone or with teammates, with opportunities for overtime and travel. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years’ experience on power generators or HVAC systems; TWIC or DOT medical card and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

3+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, with inspections, maintenance and repairs.
Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
May require TWIC card or valid DOT medical card and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Based at Lemont, IL service center with potential travel or overtime.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC, and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop or customer sites and coordinate setup with other technicians.
