Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Power based in Sayreville, NJ. You will support maintenance and repair of power generators, diesel engines, and related equipment in our Sayreville service center and on customer sites.

The role involves field work with local travel, potential overtime, and a chance for travel beyond local areas. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of experience are required along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience working on power generators equipment, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• May need to obtain TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop or on customer sites, either solo or with another technician.
• Work in the Sayreville, NJ service center and travel locally in company vehicle.
• Option for overtime and occasional travel.
