Job summary

Aggreko plc in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Planned Maintenance Technician to support our Peru Ridge data center site. You will perform preventive maintenance on power generation equipment, inspecting generators, engines, and related systems, with hands-on training provided.

We offer paid technical training, and starting pay is $28.00–$32.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities. You’ll work 12‑hour shifts, travel to training locations, and grow your skills in power generation while joining a

Qualifications

Mechanically inclined with hands-on tool experience.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to training locations.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and planned maintenance on power generation equipment.
Oil and filter changes, fluid checks, inspections, cleaning, and scheduled maintenance.
Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, damage, or other conditions.
Assist experienced technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain generators, engines, compressors at shop and customer sites.
Complete logs, maintenance records, paperwork on time.
Conduct customer-site checks and maintain site credentials.
Follow safety procedures and customer-site requirements.
Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
