Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in San Diego, CA, is looking for a Service and Maintenance Technician – Power Systems/Rental to repair, maintain, and rebuild equipment in the shop or on-site with minimal supervision. You will use provided tools and follow safety guidelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of apprenticeship program or at least 1 year of work experience in the industry.
• Must have valid CA Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment using wash rack steam cleaner and high-pressure washer.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs maintenance services and minor repairs per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Inspects equipment before and after use and reports requirements.
• Takes fluid samples and processes them for the Lab.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
• Completes reports and updates product knowledge.
