Job summary

Hawthorne Cat inCalifornia is seeking a Service Maintenance Technician for Power Systems/Rental to perform repair, maintenance and rebuilding with minimal supervision. The role provides training, growth opportunities, and all tooling.

You will work in a fast-paced shop and on-site settings to ensure safe operations. You will develop technician skills while maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of apprenticeship program.
• At least 1 year of work experience in the industry.
• Must have valid CA Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment by operating wash rack steam cleaner and high-pressure washer.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs maintenance services and minor repairs as per manufacturer's instructions.
• Inspects equipment before and after use and reports conditions.
• Performs regular service and preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and dependable.
• Keeps product knowledge up to date.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
